21st September 2018, Johannesburg, South Africa. Henley Business School Africa (Henley Africa) has been ranked the No 1 in the annual PMR.africa survey on Accredited Business Schools offering MBA Degrees in South Africa. This is up from fourth place in the 2017 survey.
Out of the 18 business schools rated in 2018, Henley Africa achieved the highest ranking on a mean score of 8.23 out of a possible 10.
The survey, which was conducted from May to July, 2018 asked a national sample of 300 HR directors, managers and line managers from listed and large companies, SoEs and government departments to rate the MBA graduates and students in their employ on 20 difference criteria, to assess the calibre of graduate these business schools are producing.
They were rated on academic knowledge, application of knowledge in the workplace, communication skills, emotional intelligence, ethical business conduct, financial management, implementation of corporate governance, innovation, leadership skills, entrepreneurial skills as well as strategic, HR, marketing and operational management, among others.

Henley Africa was presented with the Diamond Arrow Award at the PMR.africa Excellence Awards held in Johannesburg in September 2018 and attended by South Africa’s top business leaders.
