Henley Business School Africa is excited to announce the launch of Future-proof your Healthcare Practice. This live, comprehensive, interactive virtual course is delivered by carefully chosen local and international faculty – and at a 40% discount during the COVID emergency.
“The Healthcare game is changing. Where we used to believe that there was no time to go virtual, now there is little choice,” says course convenor Dr Peter Cruse, whose career has spanned senior medical, academic and hospital leadership in ZA and internationally.
” Henley Business School Africa and I have worked together to develop a comprehensive and practical course accredited by the SAMA, to pivot healthcare practices into the future. We both believe that as models of healthcare evolve, our collective expertise can help doctors develop future-fit practices.”
Delegates will be tutored in governance, virtualised care pathways and business practices, through leveraging technology in ways that guide them to be fully compliant – and develop a customised 90-day action plan to migrate their practice.
“We want to help health professionals thrive under these tough conditions, and that is why we are heavily subsidising this unique and practical programme, under our MBAid education support initiative. Furthermore, our academic oversight and tight governance, here and internationally, ensure high standards, whilst our expertise in action learning makes sure it’s immediately useable,” says dean Jon Foster-Pedley,
“We realised that, while doctors work to contain and treat the effects of COVID-19, their businesses have suffered. There was no formal instruction on subjects from how to pivot your practice profitably to virtual, cybersecurity to telemedicine ethics, hardware and software. Now there is.”
Henley has worked with the South African Medical Association to have the course accredited for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points, and sourced global experts and local practitioners to deliver a comprehensive syllabus. The programme design ensures that delegates develop customised plans to pivot their practices online as quickly as possible.
“Healthcare is critical to us all, especially now, and we want to help doctors thrive .” says Foster-Pedley, “One health-care provider has already committed to further discounting as they see the value of getting this training out rapidly.”
The course consists of 1 x 3-hour session per week for 6 weeks, providing 18 hours of practical tuition. This is a high-level programme providing a full year’s CPD points. It would normally be priced at R15,850.00 per participant. Henley’s 40% discount reduces this to R9,500.00 per delegate.
Future-proof your Healthcare Practice course is currently enrolling for the 10 March 2021 inaugural intake.
